Well, it's nice vectoring, but the non-vector elements could easily be created elsewise via gradients. It's sort of going the easy way out by added raster effects.
thanks, and the reason i did the shades and highlights in photoshop is because i've done 2 controllers in photoshop already and knew it would look right doing it that way.

i've only been doing Illustrator for 2-3 months, and my professor allowed to use photoshop. And since I was on a deadline AND he gave me the option, I took it. Because, I'm not good w/ the grids yet.
So I don't look at it as being lazy, I look at it as making the most outta the time given to me and using the avenues set by the prof for the assignment.
