For years I have been playing around with close up pictures and have never liked any of the results. I started in High School using my Pentax K1000 and a Quantaray Macro lens. But I never got the hang of it. Then once digital cameras arrived on the scene, I couldn't get any results that I liked due to the low resolution of early digitals.

Fast forward to Christmas 2009. I recieved a Fujifilm Finepix S1500 digital camera from my parents. This is actually my first personal digital cam, having spent years borrowing from my sister and parents. The nice thing about it is not only is it a 10 MegaPixel camera, but it also has a Macro and Super Marco setting, which is awesome!

So now after years of not getting the close up shots I want, I can finally start! 2010 is going to be a great photography year.
